There are some items that anyone thinking of buying or using one of these, or others, that are offered by Weather Guard:1: These tanks are actually recommended and "approved" by the manufacturer for Diesel fuel only because they do not have a good way to meet the EPA rules (more government over-regulation) for vapor recovery and such. They have used these for gasoline for a 100 years but not allowed now by a very bloated self absorbed overreaching EPA.
2: These particular pictured tanks are not as likely to have the problem that I had with my 24 X 24 X 48 inch tank by this company.....BUT, the manufacturer does NOT do a good job of installing the baffles in the tanks! They are installed poorly, weak in design and attachment, and in my case, it took less than 2 years for the baffle to break out completely and fall to the bottom of the tank.... it began to brake out over time but I was not aware (you can't see inside easily), but it was only then that I noticed how the fuel would splosh around so much.
When I contacted the company about the complete failure of the baffle they would do nothing to fix it, repair it, or replace it. So, I do not trust this company nor it's products much any more. They said I was 2 weeks past the warrantee, too bad. All warrantees are not the same I am sure, but these folks did not do well in this case and with my tank.
So, buyer be ware.... even large well established companies with some good products may not be trustworthy in the long term nor take good care of their customers. This company is such.
I hope these facts are a help to some one in the future. Gary
