Bought a pair of these for a large future install in a project vehicle i am working on..They ship in a very high quality, carpeted enclosure. Ive been storing mine in them, and I dont worry about anything happening to them until I need them. I've unpacked them and looked them over and hooked one up for testing. The equivalent size XXX-18 weighs close to a hundred pounds, but these with the Neo magnets are under 50 pounds each (A plus once you realize how big of an enclosure you need to build for an 18 inch sub) Quality of the product is extremely high, and they are shipped with nice gaskets, and complimentary stickers. Hooked one up at 2 ohms (Mine are dual 1 ohm config) And ran one of my vintage US Amps on it at 1400 watts RMS and it never broke a sweat. Never got hot, no unusual noise ran perfectly...These are made to pound. And when you see an 18 inch speaker with this much excursion, you get excited to see what it will do in an actual install..In my opinion US Amps/RE Audio are the best in the biz. Buy with confidence, when it comes to speakers, you get what you pay for...
