I had a local truck accessory company install this into a Ram 2500 CTD with 6.4" bed. It fits perfectly, taking up just about every square inch that it can possibly occupy and still operate correctly.

Basically this is a very thick sheet of plywood, supported on a steel frame with a rubber no-slip layer on top. The Bedslide operates with a handle, which is attached by a thin steel cable on the underside to the locking pins that keep the Bedslide in the desired position. To access the Bedslide, just let the tailgate down, pull the handle, and pull the Bedslide out as far as you want. I think there are 4 locking positions, and it will slide out a couple feet past the edge of your lowered tailgate. This makes putting anything on or taking anything off the Bedslide super easy, which is even more useful if you have a camper shell installed; no more climbing up into the bed.

The 1500 CG has a 1500 lb weight rating and a 5-year warranty. The side rails are removable in case what you want to put on the Bedslide is wider than the actual slide, plus it comes with 4 adjustable tie-down points. I like all the features, but after the install I discovered that a small plastic end cap that covers the exposed portion of the rail had already broken. It looks like these end caps are new, as pictures on Bedslide's website don't show them in most of their photos. It's not a great design in my opinion, I would think they could find a way to finish off the ends of the rails without the caps, or design a more robust cap.

However that's a small issue, and the rest of this thing seems to be built very solid. I'm impressed so far with it and it has made loading things in and out of the truck so much easier. It's definitely a purchase I'd make again.
