Valeo Flywheel Conversion Review

Anybody with an A4 will love the steel flywheel conversion - it's what the car should have come with from the factory! I've only had this installed now for a little over 100 miles, but I can say that the clutch feel is much better than stock. The pedal engagement is right in the middle, where it's supposed to be. Engagement feels comfortable, yet plenty grippy.

Kit comes with everything needed
No chatter whatsoever (sometimes associated with steel SM flywheels)

Cons:
No published torque rating on clutch disk/PP (that I could find)
Some noticeable extra NVH that can be felt (it is very slight, and does not bother me at all, but thought it should be noted).
Once this flywheel is installed, the only clutch and PP that can be used is the Valeo replacement. Any other setup and you will need to replace the flywheel again.

If you have an A4 with a manual transmission, this is a great kit, and you won't regret the SMFW conversion. My car is 100% stock, but I did a lot of research on forums, and people with mild upgrades still run this clutch with no problems. However, I would never go stage 3 or BT with this kit.
