Seems these wheels are out of round as the Porsche dealer called when mounting the brand new Pirelli tires to tell me the technician is having a difficult time finding the balance point between tire and wheel. Pirelli has a great reputation of producing excellent performance tires, so the odds are that the wheel is the issue. Essentially any speeds above 65mph result in an "out of balance wobble" noticeable in both front and rear wheels. For multiple attempts to get the best balance point, the dealership charged about $100 more than normal for a mount and balance. (Yes, a four wheel alignment was also performed, so we know the alignment isn't the issue.) Now, after a few weeks of driving on these wheels, we will have to go back and get them balanced again to try and get rid of the "out of balance wobble", which will cost between $150 and $200 for high speed balancing. Add these additional costs to the calculations and the wheel pricing isn't as attractive. Also, to figure out if the wheels you get are out of round requires you to drive them. If you drive them, it seems almost impossible to return them for round ones, although I haven't tried that yet.
The other disappointment is that the Porsche crest is not the real deal. It is a sticker that looks similar, but is definitely a knockoff of the original design. Otherwise, the quality of the wheels seems fine.
Bottom line, if you live somewhere where you cruise instead of drive fast and hard, these wheels will probably be fine for you. If you are looking for setup that is the same quality as OEM wheels, these are not the answer.
