65-70 Mustang Side Exhaust Kits are designed with the performance enthusiast in mind. These go through the rear torque boxes so there is modification required. However these are very accommodating to a wide range of suspension systems and subframe connectors and do not create ground clearance concerns as other kits will do. These are the kits that were used on the Shelby continuation cars GT-500E and the GT-350SR and continue to be the best solution for running the side exhaust on your car. This is the only kit designed specifically for the E or E2 body kit conversions. Does not require modification to the exhaust tips as the others but does require torque box and rocker modification. This system is specifically designed to clear most subframe connectors. This is designed to go directly through the rear torque boxes. It's recommended to cut go with a 3" hole, use 3" tubing to re-structure the torque box. Instructions are included!

This exhaust system is great, all stainless pipe and mufflers I mean really nice, however the step by step instructions leave a lot to be desired. The pictures are not that good and instructions very general. I would still highly recemend but above avarage skills required.
