I purchased a Wagan Inverter three months ago. Last time I used the inverter heard a screw or piece of metal moving about inside. I was concerned that it may be a hazardous to continue to use the product. I also wanted to know if I could remove the case and take out the piece of metal. Website said do not remove cover without the advice of technical support and doing so would void the warranty. Attempted to contact Wagan Tech technical support twice over a three day period and never received a call back. I then left two messages for manager and never received a call back. I was told to obtain an RMA and send in the product. Customer is required to pay postage both ways. It will take 2-3 weeks to receive product back. Wagan Tech wants inverter in original packaging.
