These tires replaced the horrible BFG Rugged Trails that came stock on the truck. I had a defective tire right from the beginning and didnt know it till I noticed it wearing immediately. The tread was misaligned. After the tire was replaced by Micky Thompson through good ole Discount tire I was happy with overall performance though I didnt do much offroading. When I did venture off road the tires were in there element. They are a strong heavy duty tires and offer great traction in rocky terrain and didnt sink in the sand. Didnt test in mud but am sure they would be really good there too since they have wide spacing between the thick tall lugs. On road they were fine when new but after 15-20k they get noisy and a little rough. The traction was really good though, they hold the road very securly even on wet roads. They are traction tires and you would be doing well to get 25-30k from them. While driving long distance on the highway, I experienced a flat in the front driver side and didnt even realize it till I stopped for fuel!!! The tire looked low, I discovered there was a gash in the tire and the air had completely come out very quickly. I had been driving awhile evidently since the tire was too hot to touch and the side wall was just starting to bubble. Thats impressive considering my truck weighs about 6800 lbs.
