This cover is everything it's cracked up to be. The video on their website is chilling because it's exactly what happened to me with a soft cover right down to what direction they cut it. This cover is relatively easy to install. They say use two people but I did it myself. You do lose some space up front, but you have to be willing to sacrifice for security if that's what your goal is. You can still load 2x4x8's in the bed and close the tailgate. With this setup, you don't even need a tailgate lock as it locks securely to the tail. I installed one anyway for the extra heavy duty security and the visual effect of a lock. I did have to use bolts in the middle clamps to tilt the rails for extra straightness. That made the cover slide very easy. I don't worry anymore about theft, snow, accidental air conditioning units being dropped on my bed, etc. Everything it's cracked up to be.
